Selective Plating Masking is what got Acme started in the business over 60 years ago. We specialize in designing and manufacturing custom rubber masking that is used in all types of plating processes. Copper, Silver, Chrome, Cadmium, Nickel, and Platinum are some of the processes we work with on a regular basis.

 

Our masking aids can be used in conjunction with plating tape, but with almost all of our designs we can eliminate the need for tape all together. Our masks will save you time, money, and effort while giving you a repeatable masking line in far less time than it would take to apply and remove plating tape or wax. Rubber masking will not leave any marks or residue on the parts and does not require any additional disposal steps and hassles that other methods require.
